YOUR NAME embroidered custom Christmas stocking

This listing is created for a CUSTOM Christmas Stocking that will be embroidered with a name. The patchwork WILL NOT look like the photo, as it will be made, with equally fabulous pieces, to allow for a name to be embroidered. Please let me know of any special requests you might have, within limits, and the spelling of the name. All names will be $20 extra and I will use my artistic ability to create a gorgeous stocking. This custom order is for a stocking that will point towards the left. The back will be a solid color.
If you know me, you know 1. that I love fabric, 2. I will keep a little scrap for years, YEARS, before deciding to use it and 3. seldom will I throw away a piece of cloth, in other words, a curated hoarder.
I can recall the exact time and place a certain fabric was found, like a deep indigo shwe shwe bought 10 years ago in a small curry and incense infused alley, in Durban, South Africa or went fabric scouring in Unrest by the Sea with dear old friends, the ocean breeze lifting our chatter in that dry lazy Western Cape heat. Every snippet in my “vault” in the studio has a story.
After this summer’s epic road trip, feeling refreshed and renewed this limited series of Christmas stockings were born. Each one is named for places and or events during this past summer’s cross country road trip.
These measure about 17 long and 11 wide. They’re all lined and have stabilizer to prevent flopping.
